Jimmy Driftwood Barn
Experience the Music That Made Mountain View Famous!
If you want to experience the true heart of Mountain View, Arkansas, an evening at Jimmy Driftwood Barn is something you won't want to miss!
Every Friday and Sunday evening during the season, local musicians gather to share the traditional folk, bluegrass, and old-time music that has been part of life in the Ozarks for generations. It's not a fancy concert hall or a big production. It's simply talented musicians, good music, and a welcoming atmosphere where everyone can feel right at home.
Named in honor of legendary Arkansas songwriter and musician Jimmy Driftwood, the barn is a special part of Mountain View's musical heritage. It's one of those places where you can sit back, tap your toes, and get a real taste of the traditions that earned Mountain View its reputation as the Folk Music Capital of the World.
Admission is free, and donations are always appreciated to help keep the music playing for future generations.
When: Fridays and Sundays, 7:00–9:00 PM (during the season)
